“ We popped in here after a doctor’s appointment in the area and so glad we did!! The owner Daisy greeted us with smiles and let us choose our own seat. Very cute Christmas decor, full bar, and sweet servers. The food was very well made, it’s hard to impress my Honduran mom but wow the tamale, pupusas, and fried fish were all really tasty, fresh, and overall made with love! Cant wait to be back, thanks Daisy! ”
“ This place is amazing! Don’t let the outside fool you, the food is flavorful and well seasoned. Better than any other latin restaurant I have tried in my city of Boston. The service was also great and although it took a bit it was due to all the food being freshly made. Would definitely come again when I visit Maryland again. May I add that I’m Salvador and loved the food, the pupusas especially did not disappoint we even order more after we tried them. ”
“ Came in to break my fast so I'm glad this place was open late I ordered sopa de marisco and papusas. The portions are very generous and the food is wonderful! Everyone was very kind and the food came out in good time. The music isn't too loud and I liked what they played. I've passed by this place for so many years and Im glad I came and tried it. :) ”
“ Daisy’s Bar and Grill is nothing short of culinary excellence, wrapped in a warm, inviting atmosphere that beckons both casual diners and seasoned food enthusiasts alike. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck me—a perfect blend of rustic charm and contemporary chic, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Now, let’s talk about the star of the evening: the fajitas. Oh, where do I begin? The moment the sizzling platter arrived at my table, the intoxicating aroma of perfectly seasoned meat and caramelized vegetables filled the air, commanding the attention of everyone nearby. Each bite was a symphony of flavors—succulent, tender meat that melted in my mouth, paired with vibrant, crisp peppers and onions that retained their integrity amidst the heat. The seasoning was a masterpiece, striking a harmonious balance between smoky undertones and a gentle kick of spice. The accompanying tortillas were warm and pillowy, clearly homemade, and the array of toppings—from creamy guacamole to tangy pico de gallo—elevated the dish to sheer perfection. The attention to detail was remarkable; even the smallest elements were crafted with care, ensuring every bite was as delightful as the first. The service at Daisy’s was just as outstanding as the food. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in ensuring a top-notch experience. It’s rare to find such a seamless blend of excellent cuisine and exceptional service, but Daisy’s has mastered it. To sum it up, Daisy’s Bar and Grill has earned a permanent spot on my list of go-to dining establishments. If you’re seeking a place where flavors are bold, quality is paramount, and every visit feels like a celebration, look no further. Five stars, unequivocally. ”
“ Amazing food fresh made no sitting under a heat lamp or microwave here.. fresh and quality and good service highly recommend ”
“ I have been stopping by Daisy's for a decade or so. I recently rediscovered them and the food is as good as it always has been. It is one of the best kept secrets in Fort Washington. You can get a good meal for a good bargain, or have a drink and play pool in the lounge next door. It's a small family type spot, but that's my preference as opposed to a big restaurant in national harbor. ”
“ This place has delicious food and nice staff. My favorite thing to order is Sopa de Res and yuca frita. The sauces they make are so yummy. The locale is not fancy but if you are coming for that then you should not even bother being in the parking lot. ”
“ This was our 1st time here. We had chicken soup take out. It was delicious, there was a chicken thigh & drumstick with lots of vegetables. Included are rice and a tortilla. We needed an appetizer but this could be a meal. We will return. ”
